Details of the Job/Internship

UC Inclusive Credit is hiring an Analyst – Legal & Compliance with 2–5 years of relevant experience to join their team in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle litigation against defaulting borrowers, including recovery proceedings, loan default cases, and Section 138 cheque bounce matters.
• Draft and issue legal notices, including demand letters and Section 138 notices.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, law firms, and recovery agents for execution of legal strategy.
• Maintain litigation records, legal trackers, and case files.
• Assist in borrower negotiations and settlements to enhance recovery.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, NBFC laws, and applicable statutory regulations.
• Provide legal advisory on loan agreements, defaults, and enforcement procedures.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university. CS or LLM is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in NBFCs, Banks, law firms, or legal recovery roles.
• Strong knowledge of the Negotiable Instruments Act, SARFAESI Act, recovery laws, and civil/criminal procedures.
• Experience in legal drafting and coordinating with external counsel.
• Proficient in handling financial disputes, arbitration, Section 138 cases, and criminal complaints.
• Exposure to DRT, NCLT, and IBC matters preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently.
