The Global Legal Service Center (GLSC) in Bengaluru acts as a centralized hub, providing high-level legal support and operational excellence to 3M’s worldwide Legal Affairs team. 

Details of the Job/Internship

3M is looking for an experienced Analyst – Legal with at least 4 years of experience to join the GLSC.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review global marketing and business collaterals for compliance against internal playbooks and checklists.
• Identify legal risks related to "Claims Substantiation," ensuring that product claims are backed by sufficient evidence.
• Audit the use of trademarks, images, and third-party materials to prevent intellectual property infringement.
• Ensure all regulated content includes mandatory legal disclaimers and follows regional advertising standards.
• Support the Business Counsel and Employment & Benefits teams with research and documentation.
• Develop and improve process documentation, quality reviews, and internal legal reporting.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of AI-enabled review systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues within defined legal parameters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general legal services or in-house legal support.
• Preferred: Prior experience reviewing marketing, advertising, or promotional materials.
• Strong legal judgment with the ability to apply complex playbooks and precedents consistently.
• High comfort level with technology, workflow tools, and AI-enabled legal technology.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume, repeatable legal tasks.
• Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and concisely to non-legal stakeholders.
• Must be legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
