JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring for the position of Analyst Legal Entity Control with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee legal entity accounting and control, including the month-end close process, parent-child entity accounting, and equity pick-up.
- Monitor the monthly consolidation of income statements and balance sheets to ensure accurate financial representation.
- Perform detailed month-end analytical reviews to verify the completeness and accuracy of financial results.
- Prepare reports and insights for internal stakeholders, including contributions to the Monthly Controller’s Book and legal entity/line of business financial commentaries.
- Design, maintain, and update financial reports and schedules; implement robust control procedures to uphold financial data integrity.
- Support the business by analyzing, investigating, and resolving issues, and responding to ad-hoc financial data requests from across the organization.
- Review and confirm financial and non-financial appendices as part of the resolution and recovery process.
- Conduct reconciliations for a wide range of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Eligibility
- Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years of relevant experience in legal entity or financial control roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and challenge potential control issues.
- Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently while keeping relevant parties informed.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner, comfortable navigating financial reporting systems and tools.
