Details of the Job/Internship

eBay is hiring an APAC Ethics & Compliance Lead with experience of 6+ years to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead ethics investigations in the APAC region, including developing investigation plans and interviewing witnesses.
• Extract and analyze data to conduct thorough investigations into reported misconduct.
• Collaborate with Legal, People, and Security partners to track and implement recommended remediation.
• Establish trusted partnerships with regional business units and functional leads on ethics matters.
• Develop and implement regional training programs and communications regarding ethics and compliance.
• Support and collaborate with APAC ethics ambassadors to ensure program alignment.
• Ensure strict compliance with anti-corruption policies and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Promote a "speak up" culture and oversee the implementation of remediation steps across systems.
• Maintain and build periodic reports on ethics program data for leadership review.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree in law, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in Ethics & Compliance or related control functions like Legal, Finance, or Audit.
• Proven experience in leading internal investigations and providing risk-based pragmatic advice.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize matters and identify issues proactively.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite, and Salesforce.
