Details of the Job/Internship
eBay is hiring an APAC Ethics & Compliance Lead with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end ethics investigations in the APAC region, including developing plans and interviewing witnesses.
- Extract and analyze data to track misconduct and recommend appropriate remediation steps.
- Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with regional business units and functional leads on ethics matters.
- Develop and implement localized training and communication programs regarding ethics and compliance.
- Support and collaborate with APAC "Ethics Ambassadors" to promote a compliant workplace culture.
- Ensure strict adherence to anti-corruption policies and relevant international laws and regulations.
- Monitor internal systems and oversee the implementation of corrective actions in partnership with Legal, HR, and Security.
- Create and maintain periodic reports and dashboards on regional ethics program data.
Eligibility
- Experience: 10+ years in Ethics & Compliance or related control functions (Legal, Finance, Audit, or Investigations).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in Law, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven expertise in leading internal investigations and providing risk-based advisory.
- Strong process-oriented and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage global initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite, and Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with absolute fluency in English.
- Ability to drive execution and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships effectively.
