Details of the Job/Internship
Lit Law is hiring an Applied Legal Research Intern with 3–6 months of availability to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Source and organize judgments, statutes, and regulations.
- Annotate legal documents with issues, holdings, and citations.
- Review peer annotations for consistency and accuracy.
- Draft legal scenarios and evaluation benchmarks.
- Test AI model outputs and propose refinements.
- Co-author internal research briefs and reports.
- Ensure redaction and data privacy compliance under DPDP norms.
Eligibility
- 3rd–5th Year BA/BBA LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D. students from common-law jurisdictions.
- Strong academic performance and legal research skills.
- Demonstrated interest in legal innovation or AI.
- Availability of 30–40 hours per week for at least 12 weeks.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Excel, Python, SQL, or past participation in legal-tech projects or competitions.
Salary/Stipend
Up to ₹20,000 per month
