Details of the Job/Internship

Lit Law is inviting law students to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Legal Corpus Development

• Source and catalogue judgments, statutes, and regulatory texts.

2. Annotation & Quality Assurance

• Tag legal texts with issues, holdings, citations, and conduct peer-review for annotation consistency.

3. Benchmarking & Evaluation

• Draft legal scenarios and answer keys to assess AI model performance in contracts, compliance, and litigation.

4. Model Testing

• Run prompt-based evaluations and flag inaccuracies or inconsistencies in AI outputs.

5. Insights & Reporting

• Co-author internal briefs, notes, and dashboards that reveal legal trends and data patterns.

6. Privacy & Compliance

• Ensure legal corpora meet privacy norms (DPDP) and redact sensitive or personal data appropriately.

Eligibility

• 3rd–5th year BA/BBA LL.B., LL.M., or PhD candidates in common-law jurisdictions
• Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in legal innovation, AI, or empirical legal studies
• Excellent legal writing, research, and citation skills
• Minimum commitment of 30–40 hours/week for at least 12 weeks

Salary/Stipend

Up to ₹20,000/month
