Details of the Job/Internship

Equitas Small Finance Bank is hiring an Area Legal Manager (Non-Litigation) with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join its legal team in Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. The role focuses on legal matters related to property and mortgages, particularly in the housing finance and banking sectors.

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and vet title search reports.
• Identify mitigants to complete the chain of title for loan disbursements.
• Conduct detailed property due diligence with a focus on Loan Against Property (LAP).
• Address legal issues related to mortgages.
• Liaise with external partners and legal counsel.

Eligibility

• LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in property and mortgage-related matters.
• Prior experience in HFC/Banking sector is essential.
• Willingness to travel for work as required.
