SK Finance Ltd is hiring an Area Legal Manager-Business Legal with experience of 2 to 3 years to join their office in Kota.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate and engage with External Vendors to scrutinize property titles
- Possess expertise in property title chains, property laws and mortgage laws with expertise and experience in affordable loans and LAP.
- Formulate region-specific policies about collateral and devise streamlined & effective processes for legal assessment.
- Vetting of Original Property Papers.
- Conduct regular training sessions at the Branch for legal process & Resolving queries raised by the Sales/Credit/Business/Operations team.
- External Vendor management.
- Audit Resolutions for the Internal Audit Department
- Process Training for New Employees (Pan India/State Level).
- Detect and analyze gaps in case of any frauds related to property documents.
- Physically visit the authorities for verification of collateral.
- Track and maintain OTC /PDD for timely closure.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 2-3 years PQE of Legal with expertise in titles and mortgage laws in secured lending segment specific in LAP (SME) / HL.
- LLB/LLM.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to execute strategies and opportunities to improve overall efficiency
- Well-versed with operations and technologies.
