Hinduja Housing Finance is hiring an Area Legal Manager with experience in the housing finance or financial services industry to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee legal affairs and ensure total compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and verify various legal documents essential for housing finance.
- Provide expert legal consulting services to support business decisions and client services.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks to protect the interests of the organization.
- Address and resolve legal issues specifically related to housing finance and real estate loans.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal aspects of operations are handled correctly.
- Manage multiple legal cases simultaneously while ensuring all deadlines are strictly met.
Eligibility
- A degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) is required.
- Proficiency in legal consulting and legal document preparation.
- Familiarity with legal compliance and regulations specifically related to the housing finance sector.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Prior professional experience in the housing finance or financial services industry is an added advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune on a full-time basis.
