InCred Financial Services is hiring an Area Legal Manager with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience to join its office in Bengaluru. The role involves handling legal due diligence and title verification of properties offered as security for loans in accordance with Karnataka state laws, along with managing documentation and coordination with external legal stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting legal due diligence and title search of properties offered as loan security under Karnataka laws.
- Independently vetting and scrutinising title search reports, title certificates, and encumbrance certificates.
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting mortgage deeds and other security documents.
- Reviewing land conversion orders, khata certificates, property documents, and encumbrance certificates for regulatory compliance.
- Handling multiple types of collateral offered against loans.
- Coordinating with external legal vendors, panel advocates, and valuers to obtain title search reports within timelines.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of Karnataka land laws, succession laws, and property laws.
- Hands-on experience in mortgages, loan against property, and housing finance.
