Details of the Job/Internship

Kogta Financial India Ltd. is hiring an Area Legal Manager with 5–8 years of experience to join their office in Jaipur.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and defend bulk litigations before High Courts, Sessions Courts, Metropolitan Courts, Civil Courts, Consumer Forums, Lok Adalats, and DRT.
• Handle and represent the company in civil, criminal, and recovery-related cases before District Courts, Consumer Forums, and Lok Adalats.
• Manage recovery litigations (secured and unsecured), including NI Act (Section 138), Arbitration, SARFAESI, Execution Petitions, and related matters.
• Draft, vet, and review legal documents such as complaints, replies, affidavits, notices, and agreements.
• Coordinate with advocates, law enforcement agencies, and local authorities for timely progress and effective case resolution.
• Support possession and auction processes for secured assets under SARFAESI or Arbitration awards.
• Monitor the legal recovery pool and follow up on write-off or loss accounts using legal tools.
• Ensure timely updates of case status, MIS, and reports in LMS and internal systems.
• Provide legal support to collection, credit, and business teams regarding disputes and operational queries.
• Assist the Regional Legal Manager in training, compliance monitoring, and policy implementation.
• Travel within the assigned territory for hearings, coordination, and review meetings.

Eligibility

• LL.B / LL.M with 5–8 years of experience in civil and criminal litigation, recovery, and corporate legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of local courts and enforcement procedures.
• Preferred experience with NBFCs, banks, or financial institutions.
• Proficiency in LMS systems, MS Office, and report preparation.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
