Details of the Job/Internship
YES BANK is hiring an Area Legal Manager with experience of 5–7 years to join their office in Bengaluru East. The role is part of the Business Legal function supporting Retail and Business Banking teams in developing legal processes for customer onboarding, compliance, document execution, security perfection, and legal audits. The position involves coordination with internal teams, law firms, and government departments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Initiate Title Search Reports and address queries from advocates.
- Clarify legal queries from Risk, Business, and Operations teams.
- Liaise with different departments, law firms, Registrar Offices, and government authorities.
- Draft loan agreements, guarantees, mortgage documents, pledge deeds, and hypothecation deeds.
- Review and comprehend Title Search Reports for various types of properties.
- Provide legal analysis and solutions for diverse legal issues.
- Work collaboratively as part of the in-house retail legal team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree.
- 5–7 years of mixed court and corporate experience.
- Strong knowledge of banking laws, transfer of property laws, and the Companies Act.
