Shriram Finance Limited is hiring an Area Legal Officer for a full-time, on-site role based in Guntur East. The role involves providing legal support, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, managing legal risks, and handling legal documentation and advisory matters related to business and operational activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and draft legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable business, contract, and regulatory laws.
- Provide legal consultation and advisory support to internal departments.
- Oversee legal risk management and address daily operational legal matters.
- Process loan-related legal documentation.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organisational legal policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in business law and contract law.
- Experience in legal consulting and providing legal advice.
- Expertise in legal document preparation and drafting.
- Broad understanding of law relevant to finance and business operations.
- Knowledge of legal frameworks applicable to the financial services sector is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
