Details of the Job/Internship

Nyayavani Foundation is engaging an Aspiring Criminal Law Professional for an on-site volunteer role based in Dehradun. The role involves active participation in criminal law research, legal awareness programmes, and community outreach initiatives. The volunteer will assist in document preparation, moot court activities, and the organisation of workshops and seminars aimed at promoting justice and legal empowerment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct research on criminal law cases.
• Support legal awareness programmes and community outreach initiatives.
• Assist in preparing legal documents and reports.
• Participate in moot court preparations and related activities.
• Help organise workshops, seminars, and debates focused on justice and legal empowerment.
• Liaise with the local community to support legal empowerment initiatives.

Eligibility

• Knowledge of criminal law principles, legal frameworks, and research methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and documentation.
• Organisational and event management skills.
• Passion for social justice, community engagement, and alignment with sustainable development goals.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a proactive approach.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Law or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in volunteer work or community initiatives is an advantage.

Salary/Stipend
