Details of the Job/Internship
Umbrella Legal is hiring two Assessment Interns for its Legal & Intellectual Property Department for a minimum duration of 4–6 months, commencing from 10 January 2026, to join its Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in legal research across intellectual property laws, contracts, media, and commercial laws.
- Draft and review agreements, legal notices, opinions, and other legal documents.
- Support patent, trademark, and copyright-related filings and prosecution work.
- Conduct case law research and prepare briefs and legal summaries.
- Assist in client advisory matters and internal legal compliance work.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsels as required.
Eligibility
- Final-year LLB students (3-year or 5-year course) graduating in 2026.
- Strong interest in intellectual property and commercial legal practice.
- Good legal research and drafting skills.
- Ability to work strictly on-site and commit to a long-term internship.
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
