Details of the Job/Internship
Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) is looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Manager - Legal.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance and support to the copper industry operations in Ahmedabad, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the interests of the organization.
- Manage and oversee legal disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters, working closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance across all aspects of the business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal input on business decisions, projects, and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry-specific laws, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and ensure proactive compliance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support the business in addressing complex legal issues and challenges.
- Assist in the development and delivery of legal training programs to enhance legal awareness and compliance within the organization.
- Participate in contract negotiations, dispute resolutions, and other legal discussions with external parties.
- Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and updates on legal matters to senior management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Master's degree in Law (LLM) or relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
- 10 to 12 years of experience in legal roles within the copper industry.
- Demonstrated experience in handling legal matters, contracts, and compliance within the industry.
- Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and support to business operations.
