Damor Associate – The Law Firm is hiring an Assistant Advocate for a full-time, on-site role in Vadodara. The role involves assisting senior advocates with legal research, drafting and preparing legal documents and case files, attending court hearings, liaising with clients, maintaining case records, and supporting day-to-day legal activities under supervision.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting senior advocates with legal research and drafting of legal documents.
- Preparing and maintaining case files and records.
- Attending court hearings and representing clients under supervision.
- Liaising with clients and coordinating case-related communications.
- Supporting the legal team in various legal and administrative activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Advocate licence and membership with the Bar Council.
- Sound understanding of legal research, case preparation, and legal drafting.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in client communication, case management, and time management.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, regulations, and court protocols.
- Proficiency in office software and legal research tools.
- Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Prior experience in a law firm or internship experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in the Gujarati language and knowledge of local offices and courts.
