Details of the Job/Internship
Aditya Birla Renewables is hiring an Assistant Manager – Contract Management with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support drafting, reviewing, and finalising MSAs, EPC contracts, BOS (Solar) / BOP (Wind) agreements, WTG supply agreements, and O&M contracts.
- Assist in structuring contractual clauses including LDs, warranties, defect liability period, limitation of liability, termination, and force majeure.
- Ensure contract documentation aligns with project timelines, commercial terms, and internal approval frameworks.
- Maintain contract records, amendments, change orders, and vendor correspondence.
- Track contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Assist in evaluating commercial terms, payment schedules, tax implications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance with MNRE guidelines, CEA standards, and renewable sector regulations.
- Identify contractual risks related to project timelines, performance obligations, and vendor deliverables.
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and project teams for contract clarifications and issue resolution.
- Support improvements in contract templates, documentation standards, and contract management processes.
- Maintain a centralised contract repository and tracking mechanism.
Eligibility
- 2–5 years of experience in contract drafting and management within renewable energy, EPC, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong exposure to contract drafting, review, and documentation.
- Basic understanding of EPC or project contracts and commercial terms.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and timelines effectively.
