Details of the Job/Internship
The Manipal Group is hiring a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Contracts with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their Contracts Management Team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and redline commercial contracts including vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and lease deeds.
- Identify legal risks and provide recommendations on contract clauses.
- Support contract negotiations and prepare negotiation briefs and comparison documents.
- Manage contract repository, track renewals, milestones, and obligations.
- Monitor contract compliance and flag potential breaches.
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel for contract execution.
- Assist in due diligence, legal memos, and management reports.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Experience in contract drafting and review, preferably in an in-house role.
- Strong understanding of Indian contract law, corporate law, and commercial transactions.
- Familiarity with NDAs, vendor contracts, SaaS agreements, and lease deeds.
- Proficiency in legal research tools like Manupatra, SCC Online, or IndiaCode.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
