Karnavati University is hiring an Assistant Dean of Law to join their campus in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance law programs (BBA LL.B., BA LL.B., LL.M.), including course development, program innovation, and ensuring academic quality and accreditation.
• Supervise faculty members, mentor junior professors, and maintain high teaching standards.
• Engage with students through mentoring, discipline, and academic feedback.
• Manage departmental operations, coordinate between committees, and participate in academic meetings and strategic planning.
• Encourage interdisciplinary and international research collaborations and initiatives.

Eligibility

• PhD in Law (mandatory).
• Several years of academic teaching experience (e.g., 10+ years as an Assistant/Associate Professor).
• Experience in program/curriculum development, student mentoring, and administrative roles.
• Leadership qualities, effective communication skills, strategic vision, and a track record in research and scholarly work.

Salary/Stipend
