Details of the Job/Internship

Access Healthcare is hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel with 12–15 years of experience to join their Chennai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts including vendor, customer, licensing, partnerships, NDA, and service agreements.
• Respond to RFPs and review preliminary terms of MSAs/BAA during the RFP stage.
• Ensure corporate governance practices comply with statutory requirements.
• Manage litigation and disputes, liaising with external counsel and monitoring progress.
• Advise HR on employment law matters, employee relations, workplace policies, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Ensure HR policies comply with labour laws, POSH regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Compliance.
• Conduct legal awareness sessions and employee training.
• Maintain relationships with local regulatory bodies, government departments, and statutory authorities in Chennai.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law.
• 12–15 years of experience as a Corporate Legal Counsel.
• Strong understanding of Indian corporate law, contract law, labour laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and flexible shift hours.
