Details of the Job/Internship
Access Healthcare is hiring an Assistant Director – Legal with experience of 12–15 years to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage diverse contracts including MSAs, licensing, and partnership agreements.
- Respond to RFPs and review preliminary terms and conditions during the pre-deal stage.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance practices and statutory requirements.
- Manage litigation and dispute matters, coordinating strategy and progress with external counsel.
- Advise HR on employment law, disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace policies.
- Oversee compliance with local labour laws and POSH regulations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local regulatory bodies and government authorities.
- Conduct legal awareness sessions and training for employees.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- 12–15 years of experience as a Corporate Legal Counsel.
- Firm understanding of Indian corporate, contract, and labour laws.
- Strong negotiation, influencer, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, PPT, and Excel).
- Flexibility to work in various shift hours as per business needs.
