Details of the Job/Internship

Star Health & Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. is hiring an Assistant General Manager – Legal with experience in handling customer claims to join its offices in Mumbai, Delhi, or Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

Appear and defend cases before the Ombudsman.
Draft replies, affidavits, and other legal documents.
Ensure satisfaction and compliance of Ombudsman awards.
File writ petitions against Ombudsman awards and submit periodic reports to IRDAI.
Oversee zonal teams handling Ombudsman cases.
Appear and defend cases before National, State, and District Consumer Forums.
Draft replies, comply with forum orders, and file appeals as required.
Submit periodic consumer case reports to IRDAI and oversee zonal teams.
Respond to legal notices related to customer claims.
