Star Health & Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. is hiring an Assistant General Manager – Legal with experience in handling customer claims to join its offices in Mumbai, Delhi, or Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Appear and defend cases before the Ombudsman.
- Draft replies, affidavits, and other legal documents.
- Ensure satisfaction and compliance of Ombudsman awards.
- File writ petitions against Ombudsman awards and submit periodic reports to IRDAI.
- Oversee zonal teams handling Ombudsman cases.
- Appear and defend cases before National, State, and District Consumer Forums.
- Draft replies, comply with forum orders, and file appeals as required.
- Submit periodic consumer case reports to IRDAI and oversee zonal teams.
- Respond to legal notices related to customer claims.
