Details of the Job/Internship
Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is hiring a Compliance, Legal & Secretarial Lead with 8–10 years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities

Compliance
- Lead and manage compliance activities aligned with the Global Compliance Strategy.
- Design and deliver online and in-person training on compliance risks, Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, vendor due diligence, policy reviews, and establish systems and communication campaigns.
- Lead compliance investigations, prepare board alignment reports, and ensure corrective measures.
- Collaborate with HR, Admin, Finance, and other business divisions.

Corporate Legal
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize legal and transactional documents and agreements.
- Monitor agreements, regulatory registrations, and compliance timelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal group policies.
- Provide solutions for internal legal queries and assist with responses to statutory authorities.
- Liaise with auditors, lawyers, tax advisers, bankers, subsidiaries, and government agencies.
- Assist in policy revamps and conduct training on Workplace Harassment and POSH.

Corporate Secretarial and CSR
- Ensure compliance with Company Law and FEMA regulations.
- Prepare and conduct Board, CSR, and shareholder meetings with related documentation.
- Maintain statutory records and registers under the Companies Act and relevant laws.
- File statutory forms/returns with ROC and manage DIN applications and changes in key managerial personnel.
- Lead CSR implementation including NGO onboarding, documentation, payments, employee volunteering, and social media awareness.
- Assist statutory and internal auditors.

Data Protection and Internal Control Finance (ICF)
- Implement the data protection framework in line with local laws and corporate guidelines.
- Monitor compliance, conduct awareness programs, support audits, and handle data protection queries.
- Work with IT security and corporate data protection teams on framework setup.
- Support the ICF Officer in implementing and maintaining ICF controls.
- Ensure effective ICF governance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law from a reputed university.
- CS qualification/membership of ICSI is an added advantage.
- 8–10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2–3 years in compliance, preferably in a GSC or ITES company.
- Experience in GDPR and internal audit preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Company Law, Contract Law, and Labour Laws.
