Details of the Organization
The H.P. State Pollution Control Board is a nodal agency in the administrative structure of the State Government, for the planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of environmental programs. It was about three decades now that the foundation of the current direction on environmental protection was laid and a legislative base was initially formed at the national level to protect the environment from the adverse impacts of a rapidly expanding industrial society.

Eligibility
Essential Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law with at least 3 years experience as an Advocate.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
