Details of the Job/Internship
Rana Law Office LLP is hiring an Assistant Lawyer to join their Jalandhar office in a full-time, on-site role. The position involves supporting senior lawyers in criminal matters by conducting legal research, drafting documents, preparing cases, coordinating with clients, and attending court appearances.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and drafting of legal documents and pleadings.
- Conducting detailed legal research and analysing case law.
- Liaising with clients and assisting in case preparation for trials and appeals.
- Attending court proceedings and supporting litigation activities.
- Working closely with senior lawyers on case strategies and legal analysis.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Postgraduate degree in Law (LL.M.) is an advantage.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and case law interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including briefs and motions.
- Effective communication and client engagement skills.
- Knowledge of Indian criminal law, legal procedures, and courtroom etiquette.
- Proficiency in legal software and technology tools.
Prior experience or internship in criminal law is an advantage.
