NES Fircroft is looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Legal Associate with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- This position provides support to NES Fircroft’s legal team in Contract Lifecycle management.
- Providing support to Commercial and Legal team in managing the repository of contracts in NES Fircroft’s internal contract lifecycle management tool.
- Manage the contract lifecycle process, initiate renewals, obtain approvals and draft amendments via NES Fircroft’s standard template.
- Advise and support various global legal teams in keeping track of the contractual timelines.
- Support the internal audit teams in getting the contract information relating to various contracts & keep paperwork up to date.
- Works with Commercial & Legal team in Vendor Management process on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including customer & vendor contracts, data protection agreement and non-disclosure agreements.
- Support the internal global legal teams in managing the Vendor Management requests and ensuring to adhere with the due diligence process.
- Creates a database of contract templates, such as non-disclosures, non-competes, release forms, partnership agreements, purchase orders, employment contracts, and independent contractor agreements.
- Promote a culture and practice of good conduct of business and adherence to legal standards within the Group Business.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Ensure management of commercial contract repositories with Paralegal team.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with 2-3 years of PQE at process based multi-national organization or start-ups.
- Strong experience in legal drafting, research, negotiation and with commercial and contentious work
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate and coordinate with diverse levels of management and employees.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics in business conduct
- Time management and prioritization skills, managing deadlines to meet expectations.
Salary/Stipend
