Details of the Job/Internship
Johnson & Johnson is hiring an Assistant Legal Counsel with 3–5 years of experience to join their Medical Devices legal team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to JJMI’s Medical Devices division.
- Handle litigation portfolio and offer support for tender-related matters.
- Draft and review commercial and operational contracts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Support policy development and conduct employee trainings.
- Manage dispute resolution and litigation in coordination with internal teams.
- Advise on legal aspects of marketing, claims, contracts, and third-party agreements.
- Work cross-functionally with departments like HR, Finance, Sales, Procurement, etc.
- Partner with legal teams across regions to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed Indian university/law school.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior litigation experience required.
- Experience with MNCs or healthcare industry preferred.
- Proficient in English, with strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
