Details of the Job/Internship
YES BANK is hiring an Assistant Legal Counsel with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Support business teams in structuring transactions and ensuring legal compliance.
- Provide day-to-day legal advisory to business, HR, operations, risk, and compliance teams.
- Interpret laws, regulations, and RBI guidelines applicable to banking operations.
- Assist in managing litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
- Coordinate with external counsel and prepare case briefs.
- Ensure compliance with banking laws, RBI regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise management.
- Identify legal risks in business proposals and suggest mitigating measures.
- Assist in drafting legal policies, processes, and standard templates.
- Liaise with regulators, statutory authorities, and external law firms.
- Build effective partnerships with internal stakeholders through timely legal support.
Eligibility
- LL.B. mandatory; LL.M. preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in a bank, NBFC, law firm, or corporate legal department with exposure to banking/financial services.
