Details of the Job/Internship
China Mobile International Limited is hiring an Assistant Legal Manager with experience of 6 years to join their office in Bangkok City.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with the Headquarters’ Legal Division and APAC Legal team to handle regional regulatory affairs including telecommunications licence application, renewal, filing, inquiries, and compliance matters.
- Provide practical legal solutions to internal stakeholders and advise on cross-border transactions.
- Support legal affairs and contract management including drafting, negotiation, review, and approvals.
- Provide internal training and prepare write-ups to raise legal awareness and ensure compliance in day-to-day operations.
- Conduct legal research and monitor changes in local laws and regulations across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Liaise with external counsels and assist in handling ad-hoc projects.
Eligibility
- Degree in Law (either Common Law or Civil Law).
- Qualified lawyer would be advantageous.
- Minimum 6 years of post-graduate experience with at least 4 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience.
- Experience in the telecommunications or technology sector preferred.
- Experience in a multinational and multicultural business environment preferred, and experience in a Chinese company will be a plus.
