Godrej Agrovet is looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Legal Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
- Orchestrating litigation processes from inception through resolution
- Experienced in handling civil, criminal, Arbitration, Trademark, Insecticide matters etc.
- Crafting clear and compelling legal documents, including contracts, agreements, opinions, and policies.
- Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to legal standards.
- Assessing legal risks, developing litigation strategies and advising stakeholders on potential outcomes and mitigation measures.
- Leading and mentoring legal teams to optimise performance and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- A skilled negotiator and persuasive advocate with a track record of successfully resolving disputes and achieving settlements in favour of the company or the organisation.
- Implementing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Formulating litigation strategies tailored to achieve client objectives while minimising legal risks.
- Overseeing multiple litigation cases simultaneously, including managing budgets, timelines, and external counsel.
- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and legal opinions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)
- 8 to 10 years in the corporate sector.
- Familiarity with case management software and document management systems.
