Details of the Job/Internship
Unilever is hiring an Assistant Legal Manager with at least 8 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage litigation strategy, filings, and counsel coordination.
- Provide legal advisory on disputes, regulatory issues, and potential risks.
- Support intellectual property and brand protection initiatives.
- Offer corporate legal advice and ensure legal compliance.
- Advise on risk management and provide support for business/legal projects.
- Conduct legal awareness sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with regulators and government authorities on legal issues.
- Travel for litigation, regulatory, and stakeholder engagement as needed.
- Support crisis management and key stakeholder coordination.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, including at least 4 years of litigation practice.
- In-depth knowledge of litigation across forums.
- Strong understanding of Indian laws, including contracts, IP, labour laws, and compliance.
- Willingness to travel for official assignments.
- Full-time in-office role; remote work not permitted.
