Details of the Job/Internship
Varsity is hiring an assistant legal manager to join them in Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage legal documentation, agreements, and contract drafting for real estate transactions
- Issuance of POA/Authorization to officers
- Conduct legal research and furnish legal & regulatory opinion
- Drafting vetting of notices/reply
- Support the function of another department from a Legal & Compliance point of view.
- Support in litigation function
- Advise on corporate law, legal and compliance issues, and other regulatory requirements.
Eligibility
- The candidate should have a Law (LL.B) degree & will have at least 2 years o experience preferably from appropriate in-house Legal & Compliance function experience on the analysis of complex issues.
- Excellent drafting skills for preparing various types of agreements such as sale deeds, lease deeds, MOUs etc..
- Additionally, must have excellent interpersonal skills, are able to build trust and establish respectful working relationships with difficult stakeholders at all levels, by clearly communicating verbally and in writing, appropriately debating difficult issues and by being a quick thinker.
- Teamwork, strong computer skills including advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint, and superior presentation skills (both physical and electronic).
- Able to manage time effectively and be fluent in English at a minimum
