JSW Steel Limited is looking for candidate for the position of Assistant General Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
- A mid-managerial position to handle litigation at the corporate level, supporting the vertical head- litigation with specific experience on management of litigations before Tribunals and constitutional courts pertaining to energy, environment laws. Knowledge of insolvency, maritime and tax laws will be considered as an added advantage.
- Candidate is expected to ensure coordination and support to HOD on litigation matters escalated to corporate from Unit legal teams.
- .Candidate must demonstrate familiarity with applicable laws, handling cases at various high courts and supreme court, APTEL, NGT and other tribunals and courts
- Candidate should have experience in advising business teams on legal issues, resolving queries, providing legal solutions to business requirements, anticipating legal risks, analyzing and planning remedial steps, reporting and updating senior management.
- Candidate will also be responsible for legal case file management, MIS reporting, Digitization drive.
Eligibility
- Candidate having experience between 10 – 18 years of experience in the relevant functional area shall be considered.
- LL.B. from a reputed law school.
- Hands on experience in litigation strategy, briefing counsels, preparing note for opinions, conducting legal research, maintaining and updating digital records of litigations, preparing and presenting litigation reports to the management, coordinating with external lawyers or law firms and budgeting legal expenses.
