Details of the Job/Internship
Godrej Capital is hiring an Assistant Manager – Corporate Legal with 5–7 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Vetting, negotiating, and closing vendor contracts, NDAs, and service level agreements.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and closing all funding and treasury contracts, including term loans, cash credit, and NCDs, with final sign-off before execution.
- Vetting, negotiating, and finalising contracts for strategic partnerships.
- Providing opinions on applicable stamp duty for various contracts.
- Preparing and reviewing customer documents for the wealth management business.
- Responding to escalated customer complaints, including those addressed to the regulator.
- Resolving general disputes such as brand abuse and vendor non-compliance.
- Reviewing and approving marketing collateral and customer communication as per SEBI guidelines.
- Conducting research on legal matters as required.
Eligibility
- Essential: LLB.
- Preferred: LLB with CS.
- 5–7 years of experience in contract management or corporate legal roles; NBFC/BFSI experience preferred.
