Details of the Job/Internship
TapFin is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal & Secretarial with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet legal agreements and negotiate with partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws including the Companies Act.
- Draft and manage Shareholder Agreements (SHA), Small Shareholder Agreements (SSA), lease, and vendor contracts.
- Handle court appearances for civil and criminal matters.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and government bodies to manage contractual obligations.
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance and funding.
- Oversee investor compliance and fund documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage legal processes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). CS qualification is a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of SHA/SSA, Companies Act, and startup regulations.
- Experience in court procedures, drafting commercial contracts, and investor management.
