Details of the Job/Internship
MetLife is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review procurement contracts, leases, sub-leases, statements of work, and service level agreements.
- Support corporate governance and compliance across FEMA, SEZ, STPI, GST, customs, company secretarial, and labor law matters.
- Assist in HR and employee-related legal issues.
- Coordinate with external counsels, manage litigation follow-ups, arbitration, and recovery matters.
- Collaborate with finance and company secretarial teams.
- Prepare reports and support management reporting on governance and compliance.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with 2–3 years post-qualification experience, preferably with in-house corporate legal exposure.
- Optional: Qualified Company Secretary (ACS) or semi-qualified candidates with relevant experience.
- Litigation experience in labor disputes, arbitration, civil recovery matters, and real estate is desirable.
- Good command of English, adaptive mindset, and strong communication skills.
- Mobility is an added advantage.
- Preference for candidates residing in Noida, East Delhi, or South Delhi
- Ability to work in shifts (desirable).
