Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal Compliance with experience of 5–10 years to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage statutory compliance calendars and ensure timely filings and documentation.
- Oversee employee-related compliance, including POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) documentation.
- Draft and review comprehensive legal and compliance documents and internal frameworks.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary regulatory documentation.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and external consultants on compliance-related matters.
- Monitor changes in the legal landscape and ensure timely implementation of new requirements.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of organizational compliance processes.
Eligibility
- LLB or a recognized legal degree from a reputable institution.
- 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in Legal Compliance within a corporate setup.
- Demonstrated experience in handling both corporate and employee-related legal matters.
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
