Details of the Job/Internship

CCL Products (India) Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal with 4–6 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in an in-house legal role, to join their team in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide general and strategic legal advice to internal teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and manage the contract repository.
• Ensure compliance with Indian laws including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, ASCI, Consumer Protection, and Data Privacy.
• Vet product packaging, labels, and marketing materials for legal and ethical compliance.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise relevant teams.
• Coordinate with IP counsel for trademark filings, renewals, and oppositions.
• Manage the IP portfolio and assist in brand protection strategies.
• Handle external counsel coordination and maintain litigation trackers.
• Draft and respond to legal notices and regulatory communications.
• Conduct legal research in areas of FMCG, retail, packaging, and food laws.
• Support compliance efforts and internal legal awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments and support legal training programs.

Eligibility

• Education: LL.B. or LL.M.
• Experience: 4–6 years of total legal experience, with at least 2 years in an in-house counsel capacity.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional setting.
