Details of the Job/Internship
Jai Kisan is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal with 3–5 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft plaints, complaints, replies, written statements, applications, and legal notices.
- Coordinate with panel lawyers for case strategy, documentation, and hearing preparation.
- Attend client meetings, court hearings, and briefings with counsel when required.
- Review legal drafts from lawyers and suggest edits before filing.
- Prepare case documentation, briefs, and annexures for submission.
- Maintain updated records of litigation matters and provide regular progress reports.
- Liaise with internal departments (Collections, Credit, Operations, Finance) for case-related data.
- Identify and escalate legal risks in a timely manner.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years of experience in litigation, preferably within NBFC or BFSI sectors.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and legal review skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proven experience handling multiple cases and external counsels simultaneously.
