Details of the Job/Internship
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is hiring an Assistant Manager / Manager – IP (Formulations) with 8–12 years of experience to join their R&D unit in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review patent landscapes, patent clearance reports, and invalidity reports.
- Conduct FTO analysis and advise R&D on strategy clearances.
- Design ANDA filing strategies and monitor competitive intelligence for early launch opportunities.
- Prepare patent invalidity reports and support patent litigation, oppositions, and revocations.
- Identify blocking patents and recommend appropriate IP risk-mitigation measures.
- Create IP assets through drafting, filing, prosecution, and maintaining a global patent portfolio.
- Identify new product opportunities for early market entry.
- Provide IP support to internal teams and participate in cross-functional meetings.
Eligibility
- Registered Patent Agent in India.
- LLB or Diploma in Patent Law preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience with formulation patents in regulated markets.
- Strong knowledge of infringement analysis, FTO, patent invalidity, ANDA strategies, and various dosage forms.
- Experience in patent drafting, prosecution, litigation, opposition, and revocation.
- Understanding of IP laws of the US, Canada, LATAM, Asia, Australia, Mexico, Russia, and India.
