Its research focuses on enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms.
Details of the Job/Internship
NewSpace Research and Technologies is hiring an Assistant Manager – Paralegal with 5–8 years of experience to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage NDAs, MoUs, contracts, and vendor/customer agreements.
- Conduct legal research on aerospace, defense, labor, and corporate governance regulations.
- Maintain and organize legal records, case files, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, export control laws, and defense policies.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, IP protection, and regulatory issues.
- Track contract lifecycles, deadlines, and renewals.
- Prepare legal briefs, summaries, and correspondence.
- Assist in drafting and implementing internal policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. preferred; diploma in paralegal studies acceptable).
- 5–8 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Associate, or in a corporate legal team.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and corporate legal processes.
- Familiarity with defense/aerospace compliance or government contracting is an advantage.
- Excellent drafting, research, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management systems.
