Details of the Job/Internship
Schindler India is hiring an Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager Legal – Commercial & Contracts with 8–10 years of experience to join their office in Chakan, Maharashtra.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review and support negotiation of commercial contracts including Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Service Agreements, NDAs and tender documentation.
- Identify risks in customer/vendor agreements and propose commercially viable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and internal approval procedures.
- Assist business units in evaluating contractual rights, obligations and liabilities.
- Prepare deviation notes, risk summaries and contract trackers for audits and approvals.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement and Operations to align contractual terms with project needs.
- Lead and manage a team of 2–4 members including assessments and performance reviews.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) / PG Diploma in Business Laws or Contracts.
- 8–10 years’ experience in legal and contract management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setup.
- Knowledge of government and private tenders, EPC contracts and MSA execution.
- Strong communication, analytical and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience in contract management tools preferred.
