Details of the Job/Internship
Umbrella Infocare is seeking a legal professional with 7-8 years of experience to join their team as an Assistant Manager – Legal & Compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents in line with organizational policies.
- Maintain and manage the contract database, including renewals and amendments.
- Analyze and interpret Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
- Assist in RFP/tender bidding by reviewing legal and commercial risks.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Human Resources, Finance, and Procurement.
- Oversee junior legal staff and support their professional development.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to ensure organizational compliance.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.
- Experience: 7–8 years of legal experience, preferably in the Information Technology industry.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents such as NDAs, agreements, RFPs, and tenders.
- Strong understanding of corporate and commercial laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in legal matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
