AstraZeneca is hiring an Assistant Manager – Risk with 3–5 years of experience to join their team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze government tenders to identify risks in eligibility, pricing, supply, and penalty clauses.
- Review and highlight non-standard terms and conditions that could have financial or compliance impacts.
- Ensure all tender participations adhere to statutory mandates and escalate deviations to senior leadership.
- Support business teams with pre-bid queries, documentation reviews, and risk alerts.
- Maintain a centralized Risk Register for all tenders, documenting mitigation strategies and actions.
- Coordinate with Legal, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to resolve tender ambiguities.
- Build internal awareness through training on tender compliance and documentation standards.
Eligibility
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Experience: 3–5 years in risk management, regulatory affairs, or government business (Pharma industry).
- Desirable: A Management degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and CPPP (Central Public Procurement Portal).
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP or tender software is a plus.
