Details of the Job/Internship
PATH India Ltd. is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Compliance to join their office in Indore.
Role and Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance & Licenses
- Manage compliance under the MP Shops & Establishment Act, 1958 and MP Factory Rules, 1962.
- Oversee registration, renewal, and amendments of Labour Licenses and Contract Labour Licenses.
- Handle Shop & Establishment license registration and compliance.
- Maintain statutory registers as per applicable laws.
Employee Benefits & Labour Laws
- Oversee employee registration, claims, and benefits under the ESIC Act and EPF Act.
- Manage PF claims, transfers, and updates.
- Conduct statutory compliance inductions and training for HRs at store/factory level.
Audit & Inspection Readiness
- Lead statutory audits and ensure timely submission of returns under various labour laws.
- Liaise with government de.partments and handle inspections or legal notices from labour authorities.
Labour Welfare & Compensation
- Ensure compliance with the Gratuity Act, 1972 – including submission of Form A/B and maintenance of Form F.
- Maintain Bonus Register (Form C) and file annual returns (Form D) under the Bonus Act, 1965.
- Manage filing and remittances under the Madhya Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund (MPLWF) Act, 1982.
- Handle cases under the Employees Compensation Act, 1923 including application procedures and fund management.
Vendor Compliance
- Ensure statutory compliance by third-party contract vendors.
Eligibility
Education:
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Industrial Relations
- LLB/LLM or MSW from a recognized Tier-II institute (preferred)
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Excel and HRMS systems
- Strong understanding of central and state labour laws
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently with a solution-oriented approach
Salary/Stipend
