Details of the Job/Internship

Meesho is hiring a Manager – Legal to lead corporate and commercial legal functions, acting as both a legal advisor and a business enabler. The office is located in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor, distribution, licensing, SaaS/tech, and strategic partnership contracts.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and other applicable laws.
• Support and execute corporate transactions including M&A, joint ventures, investments, and restructurings.
• Partner with business teams to anticipate legal risks and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Engage and manage external counsel for specialist mandates and due diligence.
• Monitor regulatory developments, interpret implications for the business, and recommend policy/process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and risk frameworks.
• Provide actionable legal advice by simplifying complex issues for business teams.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, building trust with stakeholders.
• Balance legal risk with commercial opportunities in decision-making.

Eligibility

• Qualified LLB with 5–7 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a reputed law firm and/or in-house role handling corporate advisory, transactions, and compliance.
• Exposure to cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Salary/Stipend
