Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Communications is hiring an Assistant Manager – Corporate Legal to join their Mumbai office. The role is part of the global Compliance Function within the Legal Department and focuses on compliance-related matters and initiatives, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of a company-wide corporate compliance program.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and periodic review of the company’s policies and procedures, specifically those related to ethics, anti-corruption, sanctions, and data privacy.
- Design, maintain, and improve training programs relating to the company’s policies and procedures and train employees and third parties on applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the company’s data privacy initiatives, including conducting data protection impact assessments, reviewing data processing agreements, and advising internal stakeholders from the perspective of applicable privacy laws.
- Conduct anti-corruption due diligence of third-party intermediaries.
- Review and advise on transactions from a sanctions laws standpoint.
- Conduct risk assessments in key compliance risk areas of the company’s business and operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
