Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Communications is hiring an Assistant Manager – Corporate Legal to join its global Compliance Function within the Legal Department in Mumbai. The role involves working on compliance-related matters and initiatives, including developing, implementing, and monitoring a company-wide corporate compliance program.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and periodically reviewing company policies and procedures, specifically related to ethics, anti-corruption, sanctions, and data privacy.
- Design, maintain, and improve training programs on company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, and train employees and third parties.
- Support data privacy initiatives, including conducting data protection impact assessments, reviewing data processing agreements, and advising internal stakeholders.
- Conduct anti-corruption due diligence of third-party intermediaries.
- Review and advise on transactions from a sanctions laws perspective.
- Conduct risk assessments for key compliance risk areas of the company’s business and operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Eligibility
Legal qualifications with relevant experience in corporate compliance and legal matters.
